Yamim Noraim
Brondesbury Park
BEEPARK Pre-Rosh Hashanah Extravaganza
Target audience: Children aged 2-8

Aim: Pre Rosh Hashanah fun activity for children

Description: Children went on a RH journey to different stations. We had a bee keeper who talked about making honey and bought her beehive in, as well as decorating shana tova cards, trying on a bee suit, dipping apples in honey.

Why was it a success? It was something that we hadn't done in shul and children loved it!

Pre-Yamim Noraim Ideas for Young Families
Target audience: Young familes

Aim: To provide creative ideas for parents to engage with their children over RH and YK.

Description: Presentations from Sara Kibel at PJ Library and Sammy Morhaim at Jewish Interactive.

Why was it a success? Combined with other communities to boost numbers, and helped parents with ideas when they would not be able to rely on the usual facilities that the Shul can provide during that time.

Advise for communities looking to replicate: Ensure that it is recorded and can be watched back for parents who are unable to sign on.
